Caption on reverse reads: Hook Mill at the left. Warner Bakery center. The water tanks at the right stand on what is now the site of the L. Parr residence. They were probably used to store the water used in the road sprinkling wagons before the time of street hydrants. Copy by C. Frank Dayton.
