Shown here is the cast and crew of a play given at Parish House in Amagansett. The entirety of the cast is in blackface. The director of this play is Doris Smith, and the other members of the committee, as noted on the back of this photo, are Cara Sweeting and Loriel Mulford. The people in the first row are, from left to right: Len Bennett, Dave Talmage, Joe Zenger (?), Orville Davis, Ralph Griffing, Diane Henrickson, Elizabeth Gardell (accompianist), Tom Lawlor (?), Fred Smith, "Page" Topping, Stanley Miller, Milton Griffing, and Louis Griffing. In the second row, from left to right are: Cora Sweeting, Naomi Ketcham, Lillian Edwards, Doris Smith (director), Elsie Case, Everett Miller Junior (interlocutor), Nata (?) Rinde, Muriel Erhardt, Marion Griffing, Mary Emma Lester, Louise Liebfried (February 3rd), and Louise Mulford (February 23rd). There are two dates and location listed on the back of this photo. One is February 3, 1938, Thursday at 8:15 pm in the Amagansett Parish house. The other listed is February 23rd, 1938, Wednesday at 8:15 pm in the Montauk Community Church.
