[Sale of a numerous parcels of land and rights of commonage, all in East Hampton Township, N.Y., including arable land, a woodlot, salt marshes, and rights of commonage in future and existing divisions, including Montauk Peninsula : by Benjamin Price, planter, and his wife, Mary Price, to Stephen Hedges all of said township, for (price, in pounds, illegible, possibly a gift) / December 18, 1666] First conveyance comprised of a 12 acre parcel of arable land in the Eastern Plains, bounded on the east by the land of Thomas Osborne Jr. and on the east by the land of John Osborne [northern and southern bounds not given]. Second conveyance comprised of a 5 and a 1/2 acre parcel, also in the Eastern Plains, bounded on the east by the land of Richard Brooks and on the west by the land of William Fithian [northern and southern bounds not given]. Third conveyance comprised of a 12 acre woodland parcel, 8 acres of which bounded on the east by the [woodlot division] lot of William Barnes, and the remaining 4 acres bounded on the east by the [woodlot division] lot of John Stratton [no other bounds given]. Fourth conveyance comprised of two divisions of meadows [salt marsh lots; acreage unquantified] at Northwest, the first situated between the meadows [lots] of Thomas Talmage and John Osborne, and the second situated between the meadows [lots] of Thomas Osborne Jr. and Jeremiah Mearsom [sic; Meacham?]. Fifth conveyance comprised of "half my [Proprietor] interest in all future divisions [enclosures] of land and half the commonage belonging to my allotment both in East Hampton [townwide, excepting Montauk Peninsula] and Montauk [Peninsula], [illegible, but states excepting reserve for liberty of his horse]. Witnessed by Samuel Mulford and Enoch Fithian; acknowledged by Suffolk County, N.Y. Justice of the Peace John Mulford [presumably on same date].
