Complete account kept aboard the ship Josephine, on a voyage from Sag Harbor to the Pacific, 15 October 1846 - 28 August 1849; owned by Post & Sherry, commanded by Captain Hiram Baker Hedges. Two inserted loose documents (by Redfield) include "Account of Oil and Bone Sold from the Ship Josephine on the Voyage" (lists ports), and "Dates of Entering and Leaving Ports," which also lists ports. Transcribed copy of original made in 2002.
