Caption on reverse reads: The original High School building after being moved from its former site, to the corner of Main Street and Fithian Lane. The pillard front on Main Street, and pilastered facade facing Fithian Lane, were not part of the original school building, but were added to the structure after being moved, to give it more prominence as a "Masonic Temple." This photo was taken after the fire of 1978. Although, the kitchen and part of the roof was badly burned, the main portion of the building was not damaged, and could easily have been repaired. This however was not done, and with the exception of the newer front, the whole structure was torn down, and replaced with a one story building. Copy by C. Frank Dayton.
