This image shows several trees collapsed on the sidewalk after the hurricane of 1938. A note on the back of this image lists the name Earl Gardell. There is a white picket fence and a paved road visible as well. This photograph was either taken or collected by Amagansett historian and librarian Carleton Kelsey.
