This notebook is filled with poems and lengthy notes of a flowery romantic nature between Hannah B. Van Scoy and other young women from local families like Burnet, Parsons, and Miller. They appear to be somewhat like modern yearbook notes, and the bulk are dated between 1831 and 1835. This notebook was leant to the Long Island Collection for digitization purposes by the Amagansett Historical Assocation.

This notebook probably belonged to the Hannah Van Scoy who appears at 35 in the 1850 Census living with her parents, David and Hannah Van Scoy in East Hampton. She would have been born around 1815.
