This photograph was either taken or collected by Amagansett historian and librarian Carleton Kelsey. Wife of Elijah Bennett as per note on reverse. Seems to be the same woman in other images, and Captain Elijah Bennett also appears in photographs in the collection. Sarah Conklin, daughter of Aaron and Lucy Conklin, and lived from 1830-1918 as per FindaGrave. A date is estimated based on the subject's attire and lifespan.
