This photograph was either taken or collected by Amagansett historian and librarian Carleton Kelsey. Evelyn and Alice Cartwright appear to be young girls walking on the sidewalk next to Home, Sweet Home Museum in East Hampton, probably when it was still the home of the Buek Family. Their attire is used to estimate a date for the image. The girls are identified as being Evelyn on the left, and Alice on the right on the back of the image. A genealogical style line suggests Evelyn was the mother of Edward and Alice was the mother of William P. although no last names are provided.
