This photograph was either taken or collected by Amagansett historian and librarian Carleton Kelsey. Photograph taken in the fall of 1933 while Helen was a senior at State Teachers College in Pennsylvania as per note on back. The note on the front reads "To the old side kick Love, Janie" which suggests Helen may have been known by another name, such as a middle name.
