This image shows the grave of John Lyon Gardiner (1770-1816) and Sarah Griswold Gardiner (1781-1863)'s son John Griswold Gardiner, who died at age 48. John Griwold Gardiner was born September 9, 1812 and died June 7. 1861. His gravestone notes he was the Proprietor of Gardiner's Island. The gravestone is in the cemetery on Gardiner's Island.
