Description
This is a colored postcard of the Old Mill and Home Sweet Home. The postcard was published by Colinda Prints of the Avery Press, Columbus, Indiana. The printer's location speaks to the widespread appeal of Payne's lyrics. No date is provided, although the postcard was probably printed after 1927, when the property transferred to the Village and became a museum. A date is estimated based on that information and the font used on the reverse, which would have gone out of style by the 1960s.
