This photograph was either taken or collected by Amagansett historian and librarian Carleton Kelsey. A note on the reverse is somewhat unclear as it reads "On July 6, 1906" but also "August 1939" making it unclear if the image was taken in 1939, more likely based on attire, or 1906. The note also indicates George Eichhorn was an engineer, and the photo was taken at "AG," presumably Amagansett train station. Another notation indicates George Eichhorn "Retired Feb. 28, 1958."
