This is an agreement between Daniel Osborn [spelled Osorne here]'s agreement with a Montauk Indian named Pappasaquan and his squaw to indenture their daughter Margaret [spelled Margit and Margett] to Daniel Osborne and his wife for six pounds. Osborn indicates he has already paid Pappasaquan three pounds and will pay Margaret the remaining three pounds at the end of her contract. The contract stipulates the Osborns are to provide Margaret with lodging, food, and drink during her time as their servant.

This Daniel was the son of Mary Bond Osborn and Thomas Osborn Jr. (1622-1712), and his first wife was Elizabeth Hand (d. 1711), daughter of Stephen and Sarah Stratton Hand.
