This postcard was published for East Hampton Pharmacy, and the image shows Home Sweet Home and the mill. A date is approximated because the pharmacist is identified as William Bain. It's not clear which William Bain (both Jr.and Sr. were pharamacists) is referred to, but the printing technology and the pharmacy name make it most likely William Bain Sr. was the pharmacist mentioned on the reverse. William Bain Sr. was born in 1898, came to East Hampton in 1927 and died in 1968, although he stopped working at the pharmacy due to ill health sometime between 1950 and 1967, probably in 1963.
