Description

In his History Project, Inc. oral history, Bruce Collins told interviewer Tony Prohaska that he piloted the steamer Shinnecock out of Amagansett for Jack Edwards from 1954 until 1960. That date is used to estimate the time for these images. "A School of fish has been spotted, the drive boat man Edward Moore has already come down from the Crow's Nest (note the open trap door). Mate William Lewis from Motor Run, Virginia is pointing some aspects of the school to Captain J. B. Edwards before coming down to the purse boats."
