This is a transcription of the 1777-1778 account book kept by Rebeckah Hand while she settled the estate of her husband James Hand. It includes a complete inventory of their movable posessions, along with records of debtors and creditors, and efforts to settle debts via mail. The transcription was completed by Long Island Collection volunteer Frank Sorrentino on March 20, 2012.
