Description

Deed from John Townsend to his father, Henry Townsend, for a plot of land in Oyster Bay. Dated July 25th, 1687. A later inscription by Henry Townsend assigns John Dewsbury this property, dated December 1692. This document was recorded in the Oyster Bay Town Records, Liber B, pages 96 and 97. A previous attempt at repairing the documented resulted in some illegibility.
