This document includes two deeds, the first from Job Wright to John Townsend for a parcel of land in Oyster Bay, dated September 6th, 1686. In July 1687 John Townsend granted all his land to his brother, Robert Townsend. The second deed assigns their father, Henry Townsend, with all of Robert's land following his death. Dated December 12th, 1692. This assignment is documented in the Oyster Bay Town Records by recorder John Newman in Liber B, page 211. A previous attempt at repairing the document resulted in some illegibility.
