This deed from Chief Tackapousha, Grand Sachem (Matinecock) and Chepye (Massapequa) to Thomas Townsend, Joseph Carpenter, John Townsend, John Underhill and all freeholders and inhabitants of "Unkawaye Neck," which is now Oyster Bay. Dated March 10th, 1678.
