Description

Deed written by Matthias Nicoll, secretary of the new English colony, that transferred land from the "Matinecock Indyans" to Cornelius van Ruyven, Govert Loockermans, and Jacobus Backer. This land was called "Hogg Neck" or "Hogg Island," which was an island by Far Rockaway that was submerged in the early 20th century. Dated November 3rd, 1665.
