Legal Case between Grace Frost and James Scarlett, July 1794

This is a copy of a case between Grace (Scarlett) Frost, wife of Jacob Frost of Locust Valley, and her brother, James Scarlett. After the death of their uncle, Jacob Libert of the island of Jamaica, Grace failed to receive her portion of the inheritance. This case rules that James must send Grace her portion by 1798. Included in this document is the will of Grace Scarlett Frost. The case is dated 1794, and the will is undated.
