An account book belonging to David Barnes, dated 1818. A list of all names entered in the account book appears on page 12, as something of an index. Additionally, a description of Barnes's accounting practices appears at the start of the ledger. Most entries appear to relate to groceries or foodstuffs, so presumably Barnes operated a store of some sort.
