Description

Ship log of the Splendid on its voyage to North Pacific from October 27, 1848 to March 15, 1851. This log was kept by the ship first mate, Theodore Pierson. The log includes whaling information, weather patterns, whale stamps, and daily ship activity. This log also includes a typed and written out manuscript and list of members of the ship.
