Log book of the Bark Alice from the voyage to the North Pacific from October 31, 1854 to April 24, 1858. This log was kept by the captain of the ship, George G. Penney. The log includes weather patterns, ship locations, whaling information, and daily ship activities. This log also includes sketches and loose pages of typed manuscript appearing to be typed later on with a typewriter.
