Description

Pages from a photo album belonging to Ernestine Rose (1880-1961) from her time in Europe during and following World War I, circa 1918-1920. Images mostly capture her time in France and the German Rhineland, particularly around Koblenz and neighboring areas like Bad Salzig and the Kamp-Bornhofen Castles of "Liebenstein" and "Sterrenberg." Many of the images are labeled, but the labels have worn off over time. Rose notes the American officers' billets (or housing) and captures some military parades, probably in France.
