Description
A postcard with a black and white photograph of Bridgehampton Village Centre, focusing on the flagpole where Main Street meets the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike and Ocean Road to the south of Main Street/Route 27.
While this postcard is unsigned and doesn't have a fully-legible date, it's sent to the same Mrs. W. Parfitt of Brooklyn who received a postcard of Bridgehampton referencing camping in August 1907, and appears to be dated September 10. If it's not from 1907, it's probably close to that time period, and that context is used to estimate a date range.
The author writes about camping, cooking eggs on a fire, and putting the "folks" on a train, along with mentioning a stay at Hampton House.
