Description
Howard Kanovitz produced and narrates the process of creating the painting Hamptons Drive-in. - film shows his studio in NYC, a trip to Bridgehampton with his daughter and his intrigue with the Drive-In located in an early version of Bridgehampton Commons (the big screen where King Kullen is now). The subsequent painting created with airbrushes and silk screen transfers is caught in the dying light - reminiscent of Hopper. Film is fascinating, witty and priceless. painting is in the permanent collection at The Parrish.
