Sale of parcel of swamp, lying in the Great Swamp [Division], at the northerly end of Hook Pond, in East Hampton Township, N.Y., by Jeremiah Mulford, husbandman, to Nathaniel Huntting, clerk; December 25, 1732. 1/2 acre and 31 1/2 poles parcel, sold for 40 shillings, bounded on the north by swamp formerly of Enoch Fithian, on the south by swamp formerly owned by Richard Shaw, on the west by land of Nathaniel Huntting, and on the east "a way into the [Eastern] Plains." Parcel consists of lot granted to Mulford's father, and the swamp lot purchased by the senior Mulford of Lion Gardiner; witnessed by William Conkling and Josiah Osborn.
