Description

These images show a tour of Gardiner's Island given by Robert D.L. Gardiner on July 20, 1992. Gardiner is seen showing various locations on the island, such as the Manor and the shore. At the time, Gardiner was the last "Lord of the Manor" and co-owner of the Island. Sites shown inclue the marker for where Captain Kidd's treasure was buried (along with a photostat of the inventory of the treasure), the inside of one of Gardiner's homes (possibly the Manor House or the house in downtown East Hampton), and several unidentified spots on the island.
