Caption on back of photograph reads: Those who visit the Shinnecock reservation today (1963) will find, the young man on the left with the white sweater, is now one of the three tribal trustees who are elected the first Tuesday in April, to serve for one year. He is Harry Williams, the grandson of Lillian Lee. He is known as "Chief War Hawk" and is in charge of concessions and grounds at the annual Shinnecock pow-wow. He is one of 52 Shinnecocks who served in World War II.
