This photograph was taken by Robert Feather of Smithtown. It was probably printed on a postcard, which was pasted into Morton Pennypacker's scrapbook on Washington's Long Island Tour. The scrapbook was largely created around 1927, during a series of reenactments, but the postcard is believed to date closer to 1916-1918, based on sketches of the building by Arthur Strong, along with the history of the building.
