Caption on back of photograph reads: Mrs. Lillian Lee, the grandmother, is shown in this photo with her granddaughter, Mrs. Vivian Carl and her great-grandsons, Gary and Douglass Carl. This photo was taken in June of 1940 in front of the Williams home on the reservation. The little boys are now grown young men and both have served in the Armed Forces. Mrs. Lee is deceased, but her daughter and grandsons still live on the reservation.
