It is possible Dogwood Hollow played a role in promoting integration among black and white musicians and audiences. This photograph has been used to document the appearance of Stony Brook locations in "The Negro Motorist Green Book", including the Three Village Inn. The photograph shows the size of Dogwood Hollow's large audience, having over 2000 seats.
