This is the Sixth Annual Stony Brook Music Festival Program for the 1960 season. Of Note: This is the third consecutive appearance of Mickey Sheen's All-Stars, although the lineup of individual musicians is now different from the first two. July 9 - "Dixieland at Dogwood" presenting Mickey Sheen and the Internationally Famous All-Stars. July 16 - "Symphony Night" July 23-24 - Count Basie and his World Famous Band with Joe Williams, Vocalist. July 30 - "Music Highlights from Radio City Music Hall" Stony Brook Music Festival Orchestra. August 6 - Benny Goodman and his Famous Group. August 13 - All-Gershwin Program. Also this performance seems to be the beginning of Phil Shapiro's era of running the concert series. He is a professional talent agent and arts program planner.
