This map -- which appears to be a United States Geological Survey map of Gardiner's Island West Quadrangle from 1956-- was copied and annotated with the location of the East Hampton Town Marine and Envioronmental Sciences Center and Fishing Station. The Fishing Station no longer exists, although the building still stood into the 1990s. A date is estimated based on the date of the map used and estimates of when the Fishing Station ceased to exist.
