This image shows a group of men hauling what appears to be a dory style boat into or out of the sea using a horsedrawn cart. Some men stand in the surf as well. This appears to be a very similar effort to the dory-launching efforts the baymen engaged in with trucks from the surf. This photograph was either taken or collected by Amagansett historian and librarian Carleton Kelsey. A date is estimated based on the use of horses and the photo technology.
