These two photos show exterior views of buildings in Stony Brook. The first photo shows the construction being done to the 1909 Firehouse. It was originally called the Stony Brook Engine Company and Eagle Hook Ladder Company. The building was moved from the old village and attached to the house on the right in 1941. This building was known as The Stone Jug because Captain Jonas Smith, who owned the three Village Inn, stored molasses jugs in it. The second photo is a street view of the finished Suffolk Museum in 1939, which is now home to The Jazz Loft.
