Sale of a one acre parcel of "land and meadow (salt marsh), lying in a place called Luptons (?) Island" (at Mecox), in Southampton Township, N.Y., by Charles A. Ludlow to John Lupton, both of said township, for 10 dollars, August 10, 1846. Parcel bounded on the north by the [land of] John Cook, on the east by the land of [said?] John Lupton, on the south by the "high water mark" of Mecox Bay, and on the west by the "road leading from Mecox Bay to Bull Head [Bridgehampton]."
