Sale of half of parcel, house and barn, in East Hampton Township, N.Y., by Thomas Edwards [Sr.], yeoman, to his son, Thomas Edwards Jr., January 8, 1782. West end of house, west end of barn (east end owned by Thomas Edwards, Sr.'s brother Joseph Edwards), and "the land my house and barn stand on, 1 ½ poles wide and 13 poles long," for 130; bounded on the west by Sineus Conkling, on the north and east by Joseph Edwards, on the south by the street, and "on the west end of my land known by the name of the 'Little Land,' so far as the first apartment supposed to be about 3 acres, bounded as follows: on the north by Samuel Conkling, Sineus Conkling, and Samuel Mulford, on the east by the said 'Little Land,' and on the south and east by the highway;" witnessed by Nathaniel Hand and Isaac Edwards.
