Grants include home lot of upland and meadow (formerly of Captain Josiah Hobart), rights in "Great Swamp" [Division], 6 acres in Northwest Plain, 18 acres "near crick," "small piece near Stony Hill," "1/2 share & 1/24th part of 1 whole share" throughout Montauk [east of Fort Pond], "1 whole share & 3/4 of whole share west of Fort Pond throughout the hither end of Montauk," 10 acres of commonage through township....[full rights of proprietorship, including in warehouse at Northwest Harbor]; witnessed by Thomas Matthews, Thomas Mulford and Elisha Conkling, executed by Suffolk County, N.Y. Justice of the Peace Thomas Chatfield. Added memorandum: "....Samuel Mulford did deliver to his son Matthew Mulford turf and twig as a part of the whole according to the tenor of the within written deed..." Note on back: "entered in the Records of Suffolk County [N.Y.] in book dated 1710[?], page 123 & 124, by Robert Hudson."
