Description

Sale of several parcels at Cold Spring [Harbor], in Oyster Bay Township, N.Y. [now in present day Huntington Township], by William Tillot, yeoman, to John Walters, cooper, both of Cold Spring [Harbor], Oyster Bay Township, N.Y. March 27, 1769. First parcel of approximately 52 acres consists of lot #'s 1 and 2, in the Third Division "of the Mayos and Co. [Purchase]," bounded on the east by the highway that leads down to Cold Spring from the Country Road to Huntington [Northern Blvd. ?]; second parcel consists of approximately 61 1/2 acres, 7 of them as orchard, bounded on the north by road that leads to land that was Gordham [Gordon ?] Lockards [Lockharts ?]; witnessed by Henry Willis, Fry Willis and Samuel Willis; executed by Queens County, N.Y. Court of Common Please Justice Valentine H. Peters.
