This view looks from the back of the church, probably under the organ, towards the altar. A date is estimated based on the use of round style photos, which were popular in the 1870s and 1880s. The gaslights would have also been popular during that time and a little later. This image shows the interior of the church in December, with Christmas decorations. Some of the Minard Lafever architectural details are visible, too.
