Sale of parcel of swamp, lying in the Great Swamp [Division], at the northerly of Hook Pond, in East Hampton Township, N.Y., by Samuel Hudson, blacksmith, to Nathaniel Huntting, clerk]; January 1, 1732/3. 1 acre and 17 1/2 poles parcel, sold for 4, bounded with the swamp formerly belonging to Joshua Garlick, now in the possession of Samuel Dayton, to the south with the swamp formerly belonging to Richard Shaw, deceased, on the west with the land of Nathaniel Huntting, and "with a way leading into the [Eastern] Plains;" witnessed by Joseph Hicks and Benjamin Eyre. Note on back from Samuel Hudson: "now of no benefit to me Hudson having lost[?] the title to it since I bought over again of Abraham Gardiner."
