Sale of 1/12 of a share (1 whole share) of commonage at Montauk, in East Hampton Township, N.Y., by David Barnes Jr., blacksmith, and his wife, Fanny Barnes, to Mulford Parsons, yeoman, all of said township, for 166 dollars, 66 cents and 2/3rd of 1 cent "current money of the United States," September 19, 1826. Not recorded in East Hampton Town Records. Witnessed by Abraham Parsons and John M. Huntting; executed by said Suffolk County, N.Y. Commissioner of Deeds Abraham Parsons ["one of the Commissioners for taking the Acknowledgement of Deeds"].
