Inventory of the goods and chattels of James Youngs of Roxbury, in the County of Morris, in the State of New Jersey, deceased; January 12, 1816. Lists slaves, agricultural tools, etc. owned by Youngs; on back page is second inventory, preceded by: "and by credible evidence and particularly by an inventory of property of the testator [illegible] on Long Island, the several articles are here appraised." Items include livestock, one adult male slave, ox cart, and agricultural implements. [This is probably James Youngs Jr., whose father may have lived in Southold Township, N.Y., before relocating to New Jersey].
