Sale of 3 parcels in Huntington Township, N.Y., including tract called "The Plain Land," [on the northern edge of the Hempstead Plains] by Isaac Ketcham, husbandman, to Isaac Wood, carpenter, both of Huntington Township, N.Y.; March 15, 1781. First parcel, 150 acres, known as "The Plain Land," bounded on the west by highway leading from Huntington to [The] Hempstead Plains; second parcel, 113 acres where [Ketcham's] barns now stand, bounded on the east by the highway leading to the West Hills [in Huntington Township]; and third parcel, 17 acres where [Ketcham's] dwelling house stands, bounded on the south and west by highway leading from the West Hills down to Youngs' Mills; witnessed by Conkling Ketcham and Solomon Ketcham.
